GCMS notes, it's typo, if you apply for GCMS notes you will be able to know the present status of ur application at visa office, order once, it takes only 20 days, if u have any friends in canada, it is ony 5 dollors, other wise check some organization who can apply.

thanks buddy.

Hi canadastar, is GCMS any different than the lines that you can view on e-Cas? How much more detailed could it be? And do you know if Beijing office has implemented it yet or not? Thanks.

Hi Jacky,
Congratulations for your visa. Can you share how long after you sent the medicals and other docs was your ecase updated with medicals received? I know from spyder and ar sid that it took them 10-20 days only but I am trying to see how it is with the london post. Thanks

Dear Canada100, My PR with extra documents requested reached LVO on 19/09/2011 and Medical Received line showed on 3/11/2011, it's almost 45 days.
You are in the right track now and expect your PPR late April or early May, all the best ;) ;)

It is still hard to believe :P
we still keep reminding each other that we are finally CANADIAN PR's ;) ;)
The plan right now is to celebrate ;D ;D and also work on the landing process as there is too many things to settle before we finally leave in early May ;D ;D
We will treat together with our families in CANADA :-* :-*
When and where are you planning to land ??
Regards
Nokiadesire

Yas SIS, you deserved it, it was such a tough journey and celebrating the happy outcome is the least you can do.
Am landing in Vancouver this coming June for a month only, I will be back on June 2013 to settle there, hope things will go well for us.
But still you need to give us a treat here before you go, what do you think guys ;) ;) ;)

To all brothers and sisters who are planning to apply; I confess that I had a smooth processing of my application that took 10 months from application acknowledged by CIC, it could have taken less time if all my documents were there on time(PCC was delayed 3 months). The secret behind this smooth processing is preparing the file properly before sending it to CIC. Never assume that they will understand, anything that does not corespond to their requirments should have a justification(cover letter), that's the only way they will understand.
To all Marchians waiting for the next stage on their applications, don't hesitate to revise all the documents that you have sent and look at what was missing there, write a cover letter and send to your VO, this will make them look at your application again and rectify your status. The long wait is frustrating and we have only ourselves to blame. At the end it's our own application and we need to follow up all the time, the VO's have thousands of applications and your application will be reconsidered only when you follow up.
Am ready to help anyone who has difficulties in his application.
Complete application up to CIC standards = Smooth Processing.

Congratulations JACKY! Just to point out to you that it helps to have all docs in place plus a fast processing VO like New Dehli, Manila or London makes the process a very smooth one. However if you have a slow paced VO like mine or Bufallo (if posts from the forum is anything to go by), then the process become laboured. Looks lik som VOs are more 'serious' than others. Just my two cents.....

You are right Mandie, yet, if your file is complete and solid and you do follow up regularly, I guarantee you will be faster than usual, I see many Accra cases faster than others and you can guess what is the reason, it has nothing to do wid luck. It's in our hands and only ourselves to blame.. don't think from your perspective but see how many backlog each visa office has, the minimum mistake your file will go to archieve and if you don't follow up they will check whenever possible... Just try to do something about your file and you will see the difference.. All the best brother

Thanks Spyder; We just want to help the guys here to have smooth processing, it's better to take more time in preparing all the documnets properly before sending the application than to send incomplete or unsupported documents and wait on your nerves for longer processing time. That's what I believe from my own experience, I myself got 3 months delay because I didn't send my PCC, I applied for it after I received my medical, then it took extra three months... All the best for thread members..

lol, you should see the number of CSE I have sent to my VO. Anyway, we Accra VO applicants actually understand the situation better. Hey this is your moment, enjoy it. Have a wonderful life in Canada...and it is sister ;D

I also had a similar situation, like I sent the wrong amount draft and that delayed my processing for almost 1.5 month, so I would say whatever you do don't get much excited and keep your calm and cross check everything before sending to VO :)

Ops sorry SIS!!! the nickname is missleading can be a male or female.
Believe me you are so close SIS, as long as you keep following up your application, LVO is very slow as well, there are applicants from 2007, but if your file is complete and up to standard there are more chences that it will go through smoothly, I know one applicant who got his visa in 4 months only with my similar NOC 0631, I asked his advice and how he made it through so fast, his answer was simply that he spent almost a year preparing his file, with all stamped documnets and signatures........
All the best SIS in the coming steps,,, praying for your file to move on,,,have a nice day ;) ;) ;)

You are right Bro! most delays are coming from applicants, only ourselves to blame, hope you get your passport back very soon, cheers ;) ;)
