Dear Frnds,

I am seeking your advice in a matter. As you can see my timelines as follows:

Application sent to CIO, Sydney Nova Scotia : 29 March, 2011.
Received by CIO " " : 05 April, 2011.
An email containing PER or AOR with file # : 06 May, 2011.
Status from 06 May to 27 May 2011 : CIO Eligibilty Review complete.
File transfer to London VO (RBVO) : 27 May, 2011.

Since 27 May, 2011 till now its been 8 months and my status is still RBVO. And still the VO didnt contact my Employer. I didnt hire any lawyer or consultant for my case. I did all by my self, but now I am thinking to hire a lawyer to followup my case. As I hardworked a lot on it and I dont want it to get rejected. My duty timings and job is so tough that I cant follow up each and everything. Pls suggest me should I go ahead and hire a lawyer or not? Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Regards.

Fazal.
First of all, I want to sympathise with you, I share your frustration of being stuck at RBVO for so long. I want to assure you however that this has nothing to do with not hiring a lawyer. If you check the tracker, you will see that there are others stuck in this stage even longer than you...getting one now will only be a waste of money as there is absolutely nothing he/she can do for you at this stage. At best, he would only send an enquiry to VO, which you can do your self.
I will suggest this, send London VO an case specific enquiry, ask them if they require additional documents in order for your application to move to the next stage. Follow this link:

[seeking for a kind guidance.I have recieved my 2AOR on 4th MAr 2011 which was issued on 28-Feb-2011 On 08-Mar-2011 my estatus shows "In Processing" and inside prosessing detail is as under: "We received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 19, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. We transferred your application to the London England office on July 28, 2010. The London England office may contact you" Does 2AOR means according to the documents me is qualified now authetication of the documents to be checked? waiting for your valuable comments. With regards

Hi: It is better for u to send CSE to london visa office and ask them about the current status of ur application. 2 Aor is nothing but just an acknowledgement that the visa office has received ur documents. If ur status is in process and inside there is an extra line that when visa office started processing ur application then its mean that u are qualified otherwise ur application is still pending review by an immigration officer.

Hope it helps

Regards

Dear Fazal I am frustrated too:

Received by CIO " " : 01 April, 2011
An email containing PER or AOR with file # : 05 July, 2011
File transfer to VO (RBVO) : 29 July, 2011

and it is RBVO for 6 months, no more news from VO and don't exactly know when they are gonna start to processing my application..

Dear Fazal ..

Let me shear you my history to understand you only faith on GOD and focus straggle will answer you positive by ALLAH.

I am an architect and applied in the March, 2011. I also applied in 2002, and got refused due to less point in 2007, as I received my wife uncle blood relation proof late, and decision stand as rejection. I applied again in 2008 but then policy changed and architect were off listed. After two year I received my money back at least.... :) then suddenly new list came in and Architects NOC introduced.... I didn't mislay hope and send file again with all my documents in September 2010... Then they return my file in FEB 2011 as I didn't send the birth certificate I misunderstood either they need birth certificate if its registered in Union conical or not..hhha. So I send them again my file with my BC and received PER in June 2011. This is all my background so far and since 15 July 2011 I am RBVO. Here I believed constant focus straggle to achieve my targets… and that we all should do.

I am still at the same boat as you are so I must say wait and see... I also inquire with CHC London having same reply that my file is awaiting review by VO.

My time lines are

7 March 2011 application registered CIO
24 June 2011 PER received.
15 July RBVO.

I am form , Pakistan

Thanks

Dear Bistol
I am not sure for my application future or approval as you can see my history... but yes I pray to GOD best for all of us.
I am an architect having my own company ... and doing well here in Pakistan.. Where are you from...? Do message me at kalimorian@hotmail.com for more to know each other...
Toronto and Montreal is the place where we can have a good option to work as an architect I guess...
Thanks

Dear March applicants,

My address just disappeared may be 2, 3 hrs ago. As when I checked my E- Cas in the afternoon at 3:30 PM, it was there but when I checked it now at 8 pm its disappeared. Hope and pray for some good and satisfactory news. It also disappeared a couple of months ago but I dont remember when and what date. As far as I've seen in the forum and heard from the forum fellows, the disappearance of address brings some update than may be it disappeared before RBVO. Lets see and I will Inshallah update you guys as soon as I hear some news.

Regards.

Fazal.
