Not to upset you but there are some people in this forum whose application is returned because of payment issues. Hope your (and all our) credit card behaves well !

But I have read about cases on this forum where their credit cards did not work and they received a notification giving them 30 days to re-submit payment form. Is this not likely? Which one is used often by CIO NS?

Hi Mahek,

If there is a problem with the payment they give you 30 days to re-submit the payment form BUT if there is anything missing or incorrect on the forms then they will return the full application. So in your case if CC didnt work they will give you 30 days to resubmit.

Your Matric and other educational documents can be used to verify your age if birth certificate is not available,

Hello all,
I had initially applied in Dec 2009 to CIO but the application was returned in Feb 2010, since I had forgotten to fill one detail. I have again reapplied on 12.03.10 which was received by CIO, Sydney on 22.03.10 (I think). I am awaiting my AOR which should hopefully arrive soon.

Can we submit secondary/higher secondary certificate instead of birth certificate (if the date of birth is mentioned on it).

money orders, drafts or certified cheques can be checked trough your bank only or they direct you to proper department or so.

after providing the docs, don't forget to write an explanation in your cover letter.

Dear SKS,

In absence of Birth Certificates, one can submit the following docs as proof:

# Notarized Copy of 10th Class Certificate
# Notarized Copy of Passport Bio-Data Page
# Notarized Copy of CNIC (English Translation)

and Yes secondary / higher secondary certificate is also acceptable if the DOB is mentioned but it should be a notarized copy (attested photocopy)
