Hi guys,,,

I am thinking to get student permit till the time I am waiting.
I have started getting positive responses from Universities for PhD with funding from canada, and I dont know which date to give them to arrive there. I guess student visa wont cost much time.
I just dont know wather or not I need to send new application. I mean as per their information in cic website. I can do dual application.

Any suggestion?

i would say, don't jeopardize your chance for getting PR. c'mon PR is the last word, and the mother of all visas. u can study after getting PR. but if u r really keen to go to canada ASAP, then TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT is a good option. as u r in teaching field, i am sure u would get a job quite easily. i know for sure that student visa for canada is very tough to procure. they ask u very complex questions in the interview. also the requirements for getting canada student visa are very rigorous and tough.
this is just my opinion on the take. you can always give it a try.

I am really confused at present..
I just cant wait anymore thats the issue. Its been more than 8 months for me waiting here doing nothing than waiting

when you check ur ecas status at cic website. there u can find. there is a line mentioned that we have transferred your file to ND VO on such date. hope it helps. regards

in the status there is only 1 line saying''We have received your application on 29th Apr 10''

what is your ecas showing now and by which file no. u r checking ur ecas. is it first or second one received from nd vo.

people have been waiting for more than a year now, and still no sign of medicals. be patient and don't keep thinking about this thing all the time. keep yourself busy.
if it is still hard for u to wait, try to secure a job in canada, u can go to canada in a month, on work permit. CHC ND processes work permit application in flat 1 month's time. forget about student visa. u have to prove a lot of things to the visa officer to get a student visa. it is too complicated.
this is just my opinion.
according to your visa filing date of 1st june 2010, u can expect something from CHC ND, not before august or september 2011. hopefully u would be in canada in this year. prepare your mind accordingly, and u won't be frustrated.

hey friends i Got my per just now I wanted to tell it dr.hasib 1st bt his cell is off.
my time line 24th march sent to cio.4th april bd encashed and 26th april per
