Hi folks!
I’m currently on implied status waiting for my PGWP (I have high chances to get it). I’m already started working full time in Manitoba, NOC 0, after I submitted my PGWP application. So my question is, could I count work experience gained on implied status towards work experience required for MPNP?

I received a permanent offer of employment (meaning they hired me until I decide to leave) from the same employer I’m working for.
Having that and good English test results could I apply for it even without work experience?
Plus I have connections to the province - a couple of my good friend agreed to provide me with confirmation (yes, letters from friends are accepted by the government).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advise!

If you are Manitoba graduate with minimum one year of program and you have got job related to your studies in Manitoba and that job is in demand occupation list of manitoba, you can directly apply for MPNP under career employment pathway..you don't need to wait to gain any work experience. You don't even need any letter from friends or relatives. I am not sure about implied status. You can call to MPNP and they will clarify on this.

I have finished 2-yrs Masters, got job in my field, but it’s not in the list of “in-demand jobs”. In my case, my question is could I apply without work experience, get no points for work, but having long-term employment.

The letters would work as “proved connections to the province” and would give a couple of extra points.

Definitely. If you have done Masters, you don't even need job offer. You are directly eligible for PR under Graduate Internship Pathway. Please check this link.
