Hi anyone here who's Calgary bound? August ko pa na received visa ko but i don't have relatives in Calgary. I don't know where to stay. Sana may mkasabay ako na makashare na rin sa apartment or room. I'm 42 female at ako lng mag isa ang mgmamigrate. I plan to go march next year. Or maybe may nauna na dyan sa Calgary who would want to share an apartment. Please message me sa email ad ko superangelph2002@yahoo.com. We can arrange things in skype if nasa Calgary na po kayo. Ty po!

@rlscanada - hello pare ko, how are you? work is ... next question hehehehe di pwede mapili ;) I exchanged my off for the road test today ;D

@nurse_angel - hello po I live in Toronto , id like to offer our apartment but sobrang sikip... we found it at viewit.ca try it madami option ;)

@catherine1967 - its really different. Maybe I just miss my family and friends. And yung Marlboro hahahaha ;D But all is good, I made a few non fil friends. Ok naman sila. The first "canadian" friend is the head hunter who got me the job. He gave a lot of good advices. Basically lahat sila mababait. Imagine people thanking the bus driver as they get off the bus?! ;) syempre ako din nakiki "thank you" (mga babae dito pronounce it as: Think you -slang ba?!)

Here's a few "canadian" expressions napansin ko in my 2 months here:
Perfect!
Great!
Ey! (weather's cold ey?!)

Slang: Toronto (dito Tuh-run-no) hahahaha ok ba? ako naman di ako pwede mag english ng weekends, mauubos for the weekdays kasi heheheh

And everytime I get into a conversation about the weather:
This is nothing, wait for Winter (lol) :-X

Good night Manila, Good Morning Toronto ;)

Hi Jig,
I have my visa since august pa but i decided to migrate in Canada March next year. Dito na muna ako sa pasko & new year besides malamig dyan ngayon. Sa March may snow pa kaya? May 2012 pa expire ung visa ko so dapat by march or april dyan na ako. Calgary ang POE ko. Problem nga lang i don't have a place to stay. Di ba mahirap hanap ng apt dyan? La kase akong relatives dyan eh, I have friends but nasa toronto & red deer sila. Where ba city mo dyan sa Canada? Ty sa update.

God bless you too!

Hello nurse_angel!

Maybe she could help you. Pero wala sya sa Calgary but she is willing to help. So nice of her. Mabuhay ka karendeyan! God bless!

From karendeyan:

Truly, the gravity of my wait here in Canada, is just exactly the same as the waiting dilemma of my husband back home. my feeling is as if, I'm gonna enter Canada for the first time like ung mga lumabas na ang visa na kasamahan natin, kahit pa 4 yrs nko dto. san ka sa Canada?

By the way, for those who are planning to move up to Fort McMurray Alberta (unfamiliar?5 hrs. north of edmonton, where the real money of Canada is...hehehe...) I'd be willing to assist anybody who is coming up here if you guys need a hand on something, It's quite easy to locate you since fort Mcmurray is very small. But all the jobs are in here because of the oil field and this is the highest paying city of Canada so far.

This is my Timeline now!

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 19, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

May mga tanong lang po ako..

1.c. For late payment of RPRF ($490): Basically CEM will inform CPC-M that you have not paid the RPRF. Then CPC-M will send a notification mail (via postal) to the Sponsored Person requesting you to pay the RPRF but the fees have to be paid by the Sponsor.
2.. advise: wag nang antayin ang RPRF request, pwede kayong magbayad ng kusa without the notification letter (like other forumers did); just indicate your client or immigration file no.

God Bless po and to GOD be the GLORY.
Salamat po

Jun Nuñez...

God bless!

hi Jandox you have always been helpful. Yes under FSW ako. May friends ako sa Calgary but di gaanong close. At least sa Toronto may good friend ako don but magsasarili pa rin ako as much as possible. Salamat & God bless.

good day everyone,

busy na kami sa pag prepare para sa pagpunta sa canada by Feb 2012. isang pinaghandaan namin ay ang paghanap ng trabaho sa toronto. would u know if pwede bang mag start na mag submit ng resume to various job hiring websites. ang concern ko lang ay i will not be able to provide landline sa toronto. would u know if okay lang ba na ilagay sa cover letter na we will be arriving in canada by Feb 2012 and we are currently here in the Philippines pa?

@dcho

hi everyone!

i'm new here sa forum, ask ko lang po kung meron sainyo nag apply through cic or go2canada consultants?
i'm planning to attend their seminar kasi pero baka po meron kayo ma share na pros and cons or experiences nyo..

thanks so much :)

@vanillabeans

Hi!!

well ang consultants kasi or rep on my opinion advantage lang toh if di mo maharap application mo, sila ang mag pro process for you, pero you have to be ready financially kasi medyo mahal ang bayad nila.. but if you can gather all needed requirements by yourself kaw nalang wala ka pa babayara na mahal.. at isa pa di rin naman nila ma fast track ang application mo...

You are welcome nurse_angel!

God bless!
