hahaha you're right from now till her visa is issue I will go back and forth deciding whether to go or not to go that is the question

What makes that question even more difficult is this fact, I am pretty sure you will go visit your wife before the application completes.
After your visit you will want to go again but you will be trying to hold off as you will not know if her visa will be issued or if you have time again to go.

Ask me how I know this part lol

Whoah! Visa on hand here, from November 2013 applicant. Finally, waiting's over. They issued my visa last April 7. no email from Immigration, besides an invite for the free pre-departure orientation from COA. DHL courier just knocked at my door and hand me my package.

I'm so happy. sharing positive vibes to everyone. You'll soon get yours to those who are still waiting.

Hehe you're right, I definitely want to go again to visit. @ Chris hehe how do you know this part? I can't wait the day till her visa is issue. Right now just hearing from CIC that my application has been acknowledge and it is properly submitted is what will give me a sign of relief.

I know this part, I find it very difficult to be away from my wife. Every single time I returned home about a month later I was sending my wife an itinerary/booking to meet me a few months later in Bangkok lol.
I went to visit back in October and when I came back home it was really hard not to book another flight.

Its worked out ok hehehehe, She went home to visit the Philippines and her visa package was issued. If I would have been there she still would not have been able to come back with me. She is leaving today to go back to Thailand and close off her permits this week and pack. She plans on flying back to the Philippines with in the 1st week of May to wait out her flight to Canada get her CFO completed and pack some more lol.

By the way all the pictures and some of my personal documents submitted for the application were returned to her in the visa package.

Thanks Chris you have been such a good support and have help me out so much. Yeah it is tough to be away from her, unfortunately if I can't see her again this year since I have use all my vacation back in February. At times when I want to see her and have to remind myself that she's not here for now. Yeah I got my spirit up and I pray to God every day that our application will be a quick and smooth process. For now all I can do is wait, saving money while living at with my mom and brother, and video chat every night. I'm so happy for you Chris, you've waited so long.

Yeah it is tough to be away from her, unfortunately if I can't see her again this year since I have use all my vacation back in February.

I was really lucky in that fact of taking time off.. My boss at that time was really understanding and I basically decided when I wanted to go I was going. But I always booked my flights way in advance this way my work at ample notice of my intending absence.

Dp you know when they update the ecas? We sent my husbands passport nearly 2 weeks ago and no progress in the ecas still.

Thank you! From ppr to dm was 2 months and 11 days..dm to visa ,it took us 32 days . It's case to case basis and depends on the visa officer if she/he is fast or slow working on application.

Did u received any notice from ppr to dm? Or u just waited for the visa coz my ecas is still applicrion received but then we are on ppr stage.idk when they will gonna update it

Probably as was with us, you will know everything before you see it in ECAS. I know it's hard not to check there daily though.

We keep checking our online status,and yeah it's frustrating when no changes on your ecas,but it will ..relax,take a breath,everyone is waiting and you're not alone waiting for your visa .they don't update ecas very fast,it's Phil's.we have Filipino time.but on relie on everyday,one single day will be dm,it may change to dm,it's case to case basis,we don't know if your vo have lots of load too,and it's 2 weeks only,you might be disappointed everyday doing that .2 weeks is short from ppr to dm,but hopefully your vo will be fast working and will give you dm just 1 month.

It looks like they are working on august-sept at most application and just fewer oct ppr to visa.

Thank you..im hoping my vo is fast coz from sa to ppr is only 30+dys....hoping for dm very soom too..fingers crossed
