Ok, quick question. My wife and sons medicals are set to expire mid August or so, but CEM has their passports. What happens then? With out the passport or a photocopy, if I am understanding this right they can't get the medicals done again.

Will CEM request the medicals again on their behalf, or?????

Of course this may all be moot point if we can get the Passports and COPR's with in the next week or ten days (hoping beyond hope), that would leave enough time to fly them here and land before the present ones expire.

it is saying on the CIC website that it is not able to identify the information of my wife, when I try to check her status.
When was your Sponsor Approval? Are you using the Application File # and not your own UCI number? Each person has their own UCI number.

I bet they will rush your visa :D Here's hoping. Some of the doctors are more lenient.. hopefully they will take a birth certificate.

Hi Steph C, I finally logged on to my wife's status and it says application received. My sponsor approval was 3rd week of March.

Ok, just don't touch that dial.. :-X keep watching that page. You are at least few months away from a PPR so I wouldn't expect any news this summer.

Ok Thank you. One last thing hehehe how will we know if they are requesting her passport. Will they email one of us, or will it only be on that CIC website.
Thanks for your help Steph C. Now I can relax a bit more

They will email you. You can keep an eye on the spreadsheet to see when the time is getting close, based on the applications of people with a similar time frame.

For a retired person Steph is doing a pretty good job.

All of the practitioners on the current list are e-medical. There are some that aren't on the list anymore (like the one we used for medical previously) They still require photos even though it says to the contrary. They want to put a picture on their file. So there's 4 in Davao, 3 are at the same address. They accepted walk-ins. I see a shuttle bus in her future :D
she is going back to dr parkinston

If I were you get the MP to call and explain or at least send CEM a email, neither one will hurt you (unless you believe the smurf hater) You are close now and if you go by the remed date that will add a few months for sure

That's why they have the new list.. so you don't go back to an old doctor that isn't on the list. Read the list and there's no Dr. Parkinston.
