is there anyone here experiencing, they already have PPR from CEM,
but ecas still APPLICATION RECEIVE..
and also question if your under spousal application and you approved, do you need like a show money when you landed??just curios,,because in the philippines its really hard to buy canadian dollars, mostly US dollars ..

Yeah.. Tagum had a PPR 14 months ago and it still says Application Received! It will go into in-process near the final stages. No, you don't need any show money because your spouse is the one who signed for you, so they are responsible. And they will accept US dollars in Canada, it's not too big a deal to use US dollars if you have to.

There should be a law about having to accept cash. After all, if you don't accept it, it's not currency.

I think it still stops at Vancouver so the port of entry will be Vancouver. My friends flew with PAL recently and that's what they experienced.

You are right. Not sure where he got the idea that it is direct from manila to Vancouver. The plane has to refuel somewhere. He can fly Vancouver/Toronto direct.

Uhm, im bound for ontario so what i mean is mla.-toronto. That way I dont need to have stop over & a change of plane to let say hong kong or tokyo.. And yes cjg's wife have will have stop over i vancouver/winnepeg..
