Ok, on the generic email, or is there a better one? Can I update her status on line for the phone number?
No, you have to send them an email, maybe use RE-MANIL.IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and include your file # in the subject line.

Thanks Steph! your awesome!

From everyone's experience, what timing am I looking at? Sorry, might be pre-mature, but just so excited!

Most people in the past got PPR before In-Process. For those who got In-Process before a PPR (the latest trend), the time between that from 1 day to one month. Cching was 1 day, gortandmugs was only 5 days to PPR, Jeep Guy and Luckyman were 10 days, KaZeKaGe was 2 weeks, m&m was 16 days, , cheveng was 22 days..

I think they are basing this on the assumption that your wife will land before the meds expire. So I bet you will get that visa sooner rather then later. That's why I'm wondering if you will be one of the people to get the phone call - when they phone to ask for a valid ticket and to drop off your passport. They also phoned my partner a few times to see if he was checking his email and to ask about his medical exams.

This will make you feel good about your in-process. When I checked my Ecas, the day that they finally decided to approve us was the day that my ecas went to in-process. There were other notes on the file before that, for further review. Then, looking at the spreadsheet, nobody who had an interview got in-process before, it's always after. So I think it's really good news that the whole process is coming to an end!

I don't know if you should use "re-manil". The email I got for PPR was FROM "re-manil", but the address they said to reply to in the email was just "manil".

Oh, and they really have updated the times now. As of April 24th the time for Manila is (drum roll please...)

14 months!

Go Kenney!

What a joke....and he just recently made a speech on how things are quicker and how his process is working....

Well I just checked too....and the majority of the processing times have increased!

I think Kenny has been replaced by his own Walternate!....He sure doesn't seem to be from the same universe as we are.....

Well! Manila can relax now.. pressure's off guys.. go have a snack >:( >:( >:(

They're basing that on statistics AFTER sponsor approval? They must be doing really well, then.

That's great...thanks. I am booked to go there June 21st - July 2nd, so to get her a ticket is not an issue. I am thinking on moving my date up to do the interviews sooner for my kids Visa's. I have requested a time for the interview with Manila through email today. Lets hope they respond fast! ;D

I like how even the now-closed Seoul VO's time went up to 11 months (from 10). So the overall trend is still up. I think someone needs to tell Kenney that stats going up is only good for GDP, employment rates and exports...

They should do something about Singapore's times. 24 months is disgusting.

Only 6 VO's improved their numbers.. Guatemala (6), HK (3), South Africa(2), Kenya (2) , UAE(2) and yes Ottawa(1)
16 VO's stayed the same
24 VO's increased their numbers

How do you spin those numbers into good PR?...maybe ... "VOs all over the world are improving numbers"
