We always specify call for pickup when shipping anything LBC....that includes DHL from Canada (which owns LBC).

That way, nothing is missed and it's worked out pretty good so far.

I'd call them back and specify to call for pickup.

Cheers!

Thanks! Ugh, I just have this dark cloud of hopelessness today about the AOM. I emailed them back and asked them to call when they were planning on delivering. I wish people had mailboxes. :-X

What the hell is happening at cem?

I mean jeeze! If they are going to go out of order, then they should probably think about picking applications that were screwed up during stage 1 to try any hopes of redeeming themselves!

YUCK!

DHL is owned by Duestche Post. Not sure who owns LBC or if it is just it has an agreement with DHL to move each others' parcels.

DHL owns LBC... So whoever owns DHL... You get the idea

I agree. They should order the apps to process by stage 1 receipt date, not stage 1 approval date. Doing that just compounds the error.

It's just ridiculous how applications with Nov. 1 SA or even Oct. 4 SA could have PPR...or even visa in the case of Nov. 1 SA. How can this happen when others that applied....waaaaaay before are still waiting?

With all the technology these days....and the fees we pay.....is there no means to order applications in some means of chronological order?

Sometimes I just want to puke on the flag and hang it up on my porch!

Just found out throught the office of the Liberal MLA that my application has not even been opened in Manila. They have people who record how many times you inquire and who you enquire through but no one to process the applications.

I think at this stage its time to innundate Jason Kenney's office with emails.

Of course it hasn't been opened - as soon as they open it you will get a PPR. It's the start of the process.

I thought thats what the 2 words "In Process" mean?

As they come to a finalize the process they should request the passort.

And of course there is a November applicant who has just blown by everybody. Dates do not matter to these people.

Maybe they should just process by random lottery (all apps into a big drum, pick one at random). How much worse could it be??? ;D

It's the Philippines, a little money and knowing the right person can make everything faster. I don't know how the Canadian embassy does there stuff but I have a friend who just got into Australia within 3 weeks of putting in the paperwork by paying the agency that does the reviews. Money talks.

So who's the right person and what's their contact number?

I'm game... Haha!

For sure! Maybe they are lurking here and can message us privately.. haha. Maybe we should ask the November applicant - that's totally unbelievable. Their sponsorship approval was February :o and PPR was 14 days later! Hard to believe. Maybe they push some people though fast to help their statistics. While the rest of us are not redeemable as statistics. We are the 20%
