I am not taking that path. USA is not for my daughters, we got no family here. My wife's relatives are all in Manitoba. My wife has a multiple tourist visa like mine. She intend to lodge her application to Manitoba this year.

Cormaxx, Jarry96, StephC I really appreciate your valuable time and for shedding useful info. I pray like me, you would reunite to your spouse soon.
WHERE CAN WE BUY THOSE MULTIPLE VISAS FROM, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE 1 JUST FOR 2 WEEKS

I think he's talking about the 10 year multiple entry tourist visa to the USA. It's not too hard to get.. at least 5 years ago it wasn't. My partner's friends all applied and got one while their cruise ship was in drydock in Canada. He's so sorry he did't go with them that day.. we could have had nice vacations together in the US since then.

[/quot WHY DOESNT EVERYBODY JUST ASK FOR THAT AND THEN STAY IN THE STATES, RATHER THAN TRYING TO GET A PR VISA TO STAY THERE. MY WIFES COUSIN WENT TO STATES ON A FIANCE VISA AND A WEEK AFTER GETTING THERE TOOK OFF WITH ANOTHER MAN, THAT WAS AYEAR AGO OR MORE AND SHE IS STILL IN THE STATES. THE VISA specifically states wedding to be within 3 months or they are to return home.

i dont understand that because i know once a filipino gets here on a PR, if they want to go to the states they have to get a tourist visa from halifax that is good for 1 year at a cost of 100 dollars

Wow, $100.. well that's good to know! At least we're prepared - we want to take a vacation there one day.

Steph, it's easy to get a US visa for Canadian residents. Just book an appointment at your US embassy there (doesn't have to be in Halifax). There will be an interview but it's easy. My sister and friends did it without any problem. I'm not sure how long the validity is though.

Yea that's right. I did it in a US Consulate here in Vancouver. It is easy and not a lot of question for the interview. They just asked us what we want to do in the US, and we said "SHOPPING!!!" and then the officer just smiled and said to pick up the Visa in 3 days. :D

Validity is 10 years, multiple entry. :)

Pretty sure Canadian PR's still need a visa to enter the US unless they come from a visa waived country.
