Ok wife and sons tickets are booked for Friday arrival in YVR! Time now for a couple more good people like Gooner and Iay to get some love from CEM too! hopefully the annoucement of speeding up the process at CEM will help them along the que.

Tagum, earlier in the thread, you mentioned something about the immunization forms for your son, what was the deal with that? The wife has everything, but they included a blank "Immunization Record" to be signed off on by a certified person ( I am guessing a doctor or health nurse, what have you) the wife has his immunization record from his school and it lists all the shots he has had, it that good enough, or does this immunization for need to be completed as well?

it was never asked for at immigration,,,mainly just get someone to sign the paper showing what shots the child had,,,,we went all the way and paid for all the shots,,,,i don't think its necessary ,,, Canada doesn't even make children have them if parents don't want them

My wife was able to get her certificate and sticker yesterday, it was very strange though. They asked for the marriage certificate, then after she showed them that (luckily she had it with her) they asked for my birth certificate and passport. I did not see any of this as requirements on their webpage.

Oh well got the sticker, have the visa, flight is booked for the 28th. NOW I HAVE TO CLEAN!

Welcome to it Dave, I am doing the same thing.^;30 in the morning here, and I am having a bleary eyed coffee, after working a night shift, and getting ready to start the day with Mr. Clean and a jug of bleach ;D

Thanks for the reply Tagum, this turned out to be no big deal, the wife took the form to the doctor who did the vaccinations, and with in ten minutes was done anyways. I think just seeing one more damned form, stuck in with the passports and everything else returned from CEM just threw us into a bit of a tail spin, with another "oh fer the love of God now what?"

Oh and for those keeping count, CEM sent back pictures, chat log samples , basically everything, except original documents (we included an original marriage certificate from Alberta - because I bought a few copies when I had them correct the first one they fubared) but just about all other supporting documents where returned.

There is still a few names on the spread sheet, not in blue for Sept 2012, and the all of you, should be threatening your MP's with torches and pitchforks. Your 14 months (even though it would of only been 12 when you started) is about up, time to drive them nuts, remember they work for you, like CJG said earlier in the thread/ give them shit on a daily basis if need be, and if they won't budge or help, go to the opposition members riding office and bug them!

Just out burning a hole in the MasterCard right now, had to take a break for a coffee, getting new pillows (guess where my mind is ) Christmas tree and lights and other assorted goodies.

Our stress is off for the time being...taking my pension....end of the month...new chapter starting here too...I'll go and wait with her...and if we happen to get her passport with enough time to spare...we'll take off and connect with another Surrey pal in Cambodia and Thailand for our anniversary )

My HOPE is that our worse case scenario is that she doesn't get her visa until March when her meds expire.....and winters mostly over with and done here!

Yes Steph, it has been pretty good in the Tagalog thread too.
Well, March and April applicants have been getting DMs, and I feel kinda left out

Still happy CEM is keeping up with this pace tho.

PS:

I got my 2nd set of notes, it states that they received the re-med results last Oct 30th and is "PASSED".
I dunno what else they are waiting for to give us that DM.
Also, I saw an assignment due date of Nov 30/13, do you guys think this will be the bring forward date of our app? ??? ???

I know I'm overthinking, but for you guys who ordered the notes more than once, did your group name ever changed?

I just became paranoid when the word "straightforward" was gone on the 2nd set. ??? ??? ???
The group name was changed from FC- PRI - 3A Straightforward to 1-390XLCU.

mine changed 3 times from bad to good to bad
