It cost over $2000 9 years ago to get my wisdom teeth removed (4) but insurance paid 100% so it was ok.

A bit of a side rant here but what annoys me about Canada's health care system is that dental, vision, prescription drugs and a bunch of other things aren't covered (of course it depends on province). At some point we are going to have a bunch of toothless, blind people with cholesterol problems walking around.

:-\.. Omg! Dont know what to say.... Soooooo expensive! :-X

You are absolutely correct. Basic dental should at the very least be included.

You will be far better off getting it done in the Philippines. A cleaning here costs $120 but in the Philippines its 300 pesos.

Hahaha.... Because my case is complicated, my impacted tooth is near my sinus, it's an invasive procedure and it's possible that I can be put into a general anesthesia.. :o

You're lucky to have a dentist sister in law.. :) Sometimes, I'm grabbing the opportunity to have a free dental check up and cleaning in the UP College of Dentistry. ;D

I agree Tagum. Before, every once in a while they will call up someone and ask for a plane ticket or, what was that letter called? Now, nothing! They just keep on sending out PPR's and get people like me excited. They like to get our hopes up. I bet most of our passports are sitting unopened in the mail room or something.

I hope you get yours soon Tagum, you are well overdue! More so than the majority.

Hey Scos, I hope your wife arrived safely and everything went smoothly and you are enjoying your reunification!
