probably they have the quota to issue 1 visa a week just to say they have the minimum amount of work done in their office hahaha ...just kidding i dont know anything .. but probably that would be the trend from 3-5 visa a week before july .. to 1 visa a week this august ..

so there'd be 2 visa this week .. one would be callasandra the other possible would be vinta depends what happen tomorrow

I'll keep that in mind when I start a fight with my husband... But then again a little kissing never hurt anyone, yeah?

Lol same here. only, i am the one who needs the snogging.

I think after all the crap CIC and CEM are putting us through, we all need a good snog from our partners.

And, congratulations to you callasandra!

I have a question for people.. not sure what needs to be done. When a spouse gets their PR can they visit the US without and extra documentation? What about the UK?

No, they need to apply for a US visa. We just filled out the massive amounts of paperwork and applied for his interview. It was $160 USD paid online and they schedule interviews about a month in advance. We have to make a trip to the nearest US embassy for that.

It's debatable whether they need the PR card or not. I think that the COPR and explanation might be enough. It's not our fault that Canada makes us wait 70 days for our only proof and photo ID :-X

These instructions were helpful:

We hope to get the 10 year multiple entry visa so that we don't have to worry about this again!
