Well may i ask how much money you think you spend on a yearly basis?? Likehow much does the partner send monthly and the expenses you have .. I just wonder .. And is it enough or still running low on funds

i took a jeepney in Manila.. all i hear are people speaking Bisaya ahhaha!
I went to a mall in Cebu (ayala) and for *censored word* sakes everyone is speaking Tagalog LOL!

as for getting robbed! thank God it hasnt happened to me or my wife.. although I always tell her ... dress down when riding a jeepney and if you're going out looking nice (ride a taxi) and don't go home alone late at night!

i took a motorcycle ride late at night in Lapu Lapu.. with my wife.. (we had so much fun) and to tell you the truth...
YOU ONLY get robbed when you flash Bling.. or when ppl can smell your richness aha.

bahahaha...you didn't hear anything yet. wait till you hear the college girls in the LRT train talking in tagalog-english with all the "ish" at the end of the word.lol.

your advice for your wifey is spot on. that's how we roll her in the philippines. And we watch ourselves. husband and I rode the jeepney in manila and someone tried to take his wallet from his back pocket while we were getting off. Husband slapped the hand of that guy and threw him a don't-even-think-about-it gaze lol. i oriented him pretty well. we rode the jeepney, the tricycle, the train, and the taxi it was sooo fun, but were never robbed.

Ive seen some people working on a slaugther house previously called xl lakeside every month they send about 1k to 2k of their salary to ph .. So that would be rightround 60 to 80k peso .. And i wonder why would they send that amount .. Because their family expense is right about that amount .. They will suffer working hard here to send large amount of money so their family would live a normal life and not be poor

it's true I will never be middle class if middle class has to earn 80k a month coz I dont have 80k a month. it is also true that my dad said we were middle class. I just realized that we weren't when I read your post. why do u have to take everything personally? and by the way, did you read other replies to your post?

Call the CIC and the dude confirmed I've been approved (yippee)
He said it was sent to my email address but I never got it. Must have been eaten by the Interwebs.

You're too brave to try mindanao ive got no idea about that place at all only some pictures from the net which only shows good part of it

MANILA MANILA! all im saying is its not all that scary in Mindanao unless you ALLOW ABS CBN AND GMA reporting to scare you from going there.. or better yet CNN..

if anything im more scared to go to Manila because people there are unpredictable..

Tagum is right.. Mindanao is expensive if you buy the department store clothes (i never buy department store clothes in the PHILIPPINES).. i buy what the locals make because that you can never buy in Canada..

in response to the author...i think you should spread your wealth or middle class a little and go to Mindanao and help the kids out down there. instead of taking it personal with lady cranberries who felt offended by how privileged you talk about your ability to afford the better things in life..

(this sickness is also common in the Philippine community in Canada.. so to all our wifes and husbands that will be coming here.. be prepared to TAGAY! with the likes of the privilege in the Filipino community)

Both sponsor and applicant didnt get email from them ???

Next step is they send the package to manila .. Then cem wont send anything till they request your passport ..

what you need to do now is wait for your PPR approval from CEM.. like all of us here

Yay!congratulations! the next step would be passport request that will be sent to your wifey. either by e-mail(if she wrote her e-mail add on the app) or through snail mail. I got mine after 5 months from the timehusband received the SA. tell your wifey to check her spam folder every now and then.
