DID you folks write a lengthy essay on how you met, loved and genuinely want to be with your significant other?

I didn't write an essay.. I don't think they have time for that shit. I just wrote point form the major events on one sheet, and with the photos in linear order on a Word document I wrote little explanations so it weaves a story.

Do you suppose Gort's wife read any of the posts where he announced he was going to cancel his app, divorce his wife and find a woman in Toronto because the process was taking too long? I wonder how special she feels after reading something like that. I especially liked how he could make his paying of the standard fees out to be like he paid something extra over us for better service and was getting screwed.

For any newcomers, Gort is ok as a comedy relief. Just don't take anything he says seriously.

That's a sigh of relief-- i got the email from them today about the SA at 12 noon and i was jumping up and down in the office. I called my wife five minutes later but she wasn't as ex tactic as i thought she should be-- I guess shes probably reading the threads that the real deal processing starts at stage 2.

It's so funny.. people always have the biggest reaction to Sponsor Approval. Then PPR.. by the time you get your visa it's like oh by the way, yeah, we got a visa yesterday, NBD..

The medical certificate form you are referring to is that the appendix c ,, I read that since the new e-medical came out we no longer need it ?

Yeah, you're not supposed to need it - the first time. For a re-medical request you need the letter. However the DMP's are not used to thinking outside the box. They also ask for photos even though it specifies they're not necessary.

LOL...too true. My whole demeanor changed once I read the GCMS notes. Buncha fookers making me stress about further lost documents while the whole delay was just because no one had bothered to open it. Nine days from opening it to pronouncing it "passed".

He wanted to post his visa on Facebook yesterday.. But I said he has to blur all the numbers since his wall is public and it's kind of important information. He doesn't know how to do that. So you know what he did - he cut out little pieces of black paper to hide the numbers, then took a photo! So funny

I would let him do it. He could probably do the same work with only 2 tools. Filipinos have a very high "McGivor Aptitude".
