I suppose its much cheaper flying midweek though I don't think I can manage that with my work schedule. Is it cheaper to book a return ticket to go for a week or a few days?

St. Raphael was the one I linked before. You just have to make sure to click open the details link on the flight you want. It will list there the additional taxes and fees. So according to them the MNL-YYZ flight was $410 + $283 taxes and fees for $693. But they want cash or bank to bank transfer. The advantage being that no credit card needs to be shown. Otherwise you need to send your spouse a photocopy/scan of the front of the credit card you used.

My wife said they are near her work so she's going to stop by to check it out.

I'll send that message along to my wife. She has money to pay for her ticket. Mine is the expensive one. Peak season for the return.

It all really depends.. sometimes it is cheaper. Usually the cheaper flights are the ones that are on Mon-Thurs. So if you leave Thurs and come back Mon it might be cheaper.

That might be able to work better with work. I'll have to look into that.

Which flights? The $1468 return is not bad for you.. (the Winnipeg part is about 300-400$ from Vancouver). But the 1131 seems a bit high

That is not to bad ... less stops. Considering Manila to Vancouver is $650-$800 one way then 1100 to Winnipeg is not bad. You might find a little cheaper but I doubt you will save a bundle then the prices quoted to you.

I think you are right. This being the beginning of our peak season doesn't bode well for many deals.

Says the guy moaning about spending over $40K on 3 trips and threatening to end his relationship and find another woman every time he felt it was taking too long.

Do you ever read what you write?

LOL....Gortandmugs is a musician so he's decided change songs in the second set.

Now that his app is getting processed he is all happy with CIC and saying the problems are with everyone else (ie. the opposite of what he was saying before). I seem to recall referring in a previous post as "childish" behaviour.

Yup...
