Just wanted to note that I have a friend that now moved to iloilo because they were refused sponsorship. Maybe it was the time as it was 6 years ago... But his filipina wife was also a doctor and I guess cic viewed that as a red flag because they thought she just wanted a Canadian doctors wage.

I don't see how that would be a red flag. She could have applied on her own as a skilled worker. I think the real MOC's are when the sponsored spouse has little to no education and no employment in their home country. There is little to no risk if a well educated or professionally trained person is a spousal sponsor. Far less likely to end up on social services.

I dont understand why being a doctor is a redflag. Is there other reasons that they got refused?

Ya its weird... That's why I say maybe things were different 6 years ago. They didn't try for an appeal... As no kids were involved on my buddies side so it wasn't like they had to live in Canada... So he just moved to iloilo.

Their daughter just turned 3...super cute!

I'm sure they are happier there. Can he work?

So the med sheet is working now. It show people who have SA only and meds that are less than a year old. So if the med expiry theory is right MRS. WINTER should be getting contacted soon. Of course a lot of med dates are missing so not everyone is in the list. Maybe Steph can help troll for those as well. :D

Oh yeah, CJG, was your meds December 5 or May 12? I assumed May 12,

I haven't but I have found that ecas is a waste of time. You will be notified by either email or post before anything changes on ecas. I used to check it 3 to 4 times a day but now I haven't checked it in a month.

He doesn't work....he has enough money from a paid off house and rsp's.

Just to note that I'd love to move to phil....and I'd do it in a heartbeat, but I can't leave my daughter. I've had several goood job offers in my travels in Phil.

We'll save it for the retirement plan...haha

We are more than a few years away from that ourselves. If I could start a business there no problem.

I'm 35....our plan is to retire in Cebu at 50....then my daughter will be 20, and she'll always have a good place to stay for great vacations.

I've been noticing the php is going slightly up the last year....and general cost in phil is slightly increasing. So It'd be a good idea to buy some land now. Even if you change your mind about location...It'll just increase in value.

Cheers!

Cool Scos! I will have more time tonight :D
Is it possible to arrange the columns in order of * additional docs * interview * remedical *
That's the order they seem to take, so it will make more sense visually when I fill them out.
I'm horrible at excel!
