Hi to all aspiring spouse/children of foreign students in canada...
Sa mga kapwa pinoy ko po na nahiwalay sa asawa at gusto narin sumunod...
My common-law-partner landed in vancouver last december 2012 and was issued a STUDY PERMIT at the same time WORK PERMIT (thru CO-OP PROGRAM) upon landing. Blessed enough that he was able to get his work permit even before the start of his studies.
Up until now (1month after), wala parin po na oofer na work ang school niya. Hopefully soon.
We are not married, but we have a 3months old son. At the end of the month makukuha ko na yung NSO birth certificate niya. Then mag pa passport narin ako for baby. Im planning to apply by April pag na complete ko na lahat ang documents/requirements.
Question
1. How soon can we apply for SOWP/TRV/STUDENT VISA(kids)? Kasi for SOWP ng working permit dapat valid ng 6mos yung WP nila. How about us po? Dapat bang after 6mos. Ng student permit?
2. Do we need to provide PROOF OF FUNDS? For foreign students kasi they are only restricted to work part time, like 20hrs a week lang so baka questionable later kung pano niya support dependents?
3. May certain age po ba allowed mag apply ang kids? 3 months palang kasi ang baby ko and they say he's too young pa? Baka iquestion kung sino magaalaga if in case i work and may hubby study/work?
4. May difference ba ang requirements natin from those applying for SOWP ng WORK PERMIT?
