manila Processing times

I am extremly frustrated with the way my family class application has gone. I am try to get my wife here form the Philippines.
I am a Canadian Citizen.
Here is my time line

Dec 4th application recieved in Canada
Dec 7th approved as sponsor
Jan 7th application received in Manila
March request for Permanent Resident fee {490cad}

till now,,,absolutley nothing..it has been over 7 and a half months. I am really mad because the embassy makes a point of not wanting to talk to you. I have read forums where people are applying in April and receiving PR visas.
They haven't even asked for her passport yet. This system is horrible. Their website mentions 6 month processing time. I also thought that Canada sent over more officers in 2008. Is there anything I can do to find out what is going on??

Me again,,,my app got to the Manila embassy in Jan 7th. My wife is still at home waiting for someone to call her. They haven't asked for her passport yet! Please tell me how this happens, this is another persons time line.


My wife just got her stamped passport. Finally the wait is over for us.
Here's my timeline:

Sent application to Mississauga: Feb. 20/09
Manila embassy PPR: April 8/09
Manila requested for additional docs: May 13/09
Release of PP with visa stamp: Aug. 5/09

From the time they requested the passport (apr. 8), it took 4 months to return it to her with stamped visa.
I prayed the rosary one afternoon and the next day I checked ecas and it showed "decision made". God is Great!

We have the same problem here. I'm still waiting for my visa until now. My partner got approved to sponsor me last Dec. 19, 2008 and then Manila Embassy received my papers last January 7, 2009. After that, I received a letter that they need my passport and other documents. Months after I recieved again a letter that they need additional documents that would support our relationship which I did and send it personally thru their mail box at RCBC Makati last March 31. After that, I don't recieved any feedback since then.

Please give me feedback if got approved ok.

My aunt sponsored me. Application sent last December 15, 2014

What should happen next? Will she get notification regarding approval to sponsor?

How about me? (I am here in Manila)
