my application ended up being so thick that i cant find any envelopes strong enough to hold it. is it fine if i use something like this to mail it: http://m.staples.ca/en/Staples-13Pocket-Poly-Portable-Expanding-File-Legal-Size/product_451728_2-CA_1_20001?langId=1

i tried to look over the guide to see if they had any specific instructions for mailing but i didnt see anything mentioned about this.

I might need to do this myself, so I'm curious to see what others will say. But from some images I've seen of finalized packs, this looks normal.

However you can't just mail it off in that right, will you then need to put that whole thing in an envelope?

There's many divisions in that folder, how are you separating the papers?

im not really using those divisions. i separated my app into 3 parts using those long brown envelopes, then i put those inside the file case. i actually ended up with 6 envelopes once i got all my proof of relationship and wedding pics done.

and yes i'm going to put the file case in another envelope that i'm hoping the courier/post will give me.

just put the envelopes together and put in the courier envelope . Don't use any folders or staples. Make it as easy as possible to pull your application apart .

I didn't use staples, but I did use folders because I'm forgetful and I needed those to help me organize everything properly. I mailed my app in the file case as well which I put inside a bubble wrap envelope the courier gave me.

It shouldn't take them more than 10 minutes to pull it apart and organize whichever way they want to.
