Hi! I recently applied for a visa extension in Canada. The process required me to mail in my passport for stamping along with an extra envelope in which CIC would return it to the pre-written address. BUT! I forgot about the envelope and mailed my passport only. What should I do? Is there anyone who has been in a similar situation? Please help me out! Also, I have just received the approval for the visa extension.

They will send your passport back via regular mail , which will take longer than the express MAIL ,to the mailing address on your file

^ That makes sense.

I believe I recall a similar issue on this forum that pretty much boiled down to the applicant following up by sending a prepaid express sticker. I know they recommend a Canada Post Xpress envelope but you can also send in an electronic prepaid waybill from other couriers. Anyway, if you choose to, you can still coordinate with them if you contact them.
