Mailing address on Ecas means anything?

Hello everybody here is my situation right now my mailing address is differ from my ecas mailing address and
I have sent my passport to ottawa with return xpresspost envelope with my current mailing address. so well I am confused that my ecas mailing address means anything to me? .. do I need to change it ? please provide me with solution if anybody knows about this .. Thank you .

Hi,

It means, that is the current mailing address they have in their system. If it is an incorrect mailing address, please email them asap. In the e-cas, there is a link 'contact us'. Click that and you should be able to follow the next steps on how to inform them of your correct mailing address.

Thank you .. I had got my passport based on xpresspost return address but anyways ty for taking out time to reply
