In PR Card application, there is a question about applicant's mailing address, if different from residential address. I wanted my PR card to be sent to my daughter, who lives in the same city as I. It's just her mail box is more secure than mine. But then there is explanation on ca.gov website:
"If you provide your mailing address, all correspondence will be sent there. However, PR Cards will not be mailed to third party addresses."
What is "third party"? Is my daughter's address is 'third party' address?? My daughter's surname is different from mine.

Others can comment as I have never done this but surely you can just address to yourself at your daughters address. So use your daughters address but not your daughters name, your name as the addressee thus avoiding sending to a named someone who is not the PR card holder, the meaning of the third party statement.
