Hi,
I landed on Aug 22nd and the CBSA official asked me for the address on which to send my Permanent Resident Card. Today i checked my ECAS and the home address has been updated to the address I provided at the airport. During the time we applied the Immigration Consultants address was used as the mailing address. Which is still there.

Where will I be getting my PR card? at my home address or the mailing address of the consultant. I did not update the website since it asks for adding the new home as well mailing address and this might lead to any slowdown of my Permanent Resident Card processing.

Please advise if Is should update or not.

Looks like the Permanent Residence Card takes time,
It will be sent to you home address as indicated at the airport,
the fact that your address was updated in the system means that they have
the right address already ,

Now is just matter of waiting... It will arrive....

If you want to ask how long it takes or want further information
you can call CIC call centre @ 1-888-242-2100

As I said before,
now is just matter of waiting...

Hi Knuclez80,

Hope you are doing good, and have received the PR cards well in time.
I noticed the same situation with my address as well, the mailing address is still shown as the 'home country' address whereas the Canadian home address has been updated to the address i provided to the CBSA officer.

Did you take any further steps? Or the PR cards arrived at the Canadian home address without any problem? Would be grateful if you can share your experience with me.

Thanks

Immy
