Glad to hear from you Nekeol Bro. Just today got my Passports back with visas stamped and CoPR. Will be landing in first week of May in Toronto and stay with bro for atleast a month. I am not moving yet, will move next year in Jan- Feb 2016 Inshallah. How are you doing? Hows life and have you got any job? Can you give me any information regarding first landing, like proof of funds how should I take them, what are basic and important requirements during first landing? Whatever information you have plz share your experience and do they take any interview in airport when an immigrant lands for first time?

now no need of proof of funds, no one ask you for proof of funds. only they will ask if you have more than 10000 dollars cash or DD, if have, you have to mention on the air port. Its better dont take much money, first open bank account and then deposit the money in that account. i did the same. i took only 500 dollars cash, opened the bank account in RBC and then deposit the money in that bank after receiving through moneygram from Pakistan.
i seriously announce no need of proof of fund on the airport. you have already satisfied the visa officer about your funds. now on you how you will safely transfer the money to Canada? when you will land in this new homeland you have to stay either hotels, hostels or anyother place so be careful about your cash money. all is not okay here :

nothing is important other than visa. Congratulations. At airport they will ask only address where u want to stay keep in print format to show the immigration officer. rest those have to do paper works.

I have received "Passport request letter" from DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca on March 31,2015. Email says as per reference to my application for permanent residence. To finalize my application, require:

1. Passports
2. Photos
3. Change in Circumstances
4. Submitting your passport(s) in Canada (CPC-O)
5. INFORMATION FOR YOU, YOUR SPOUSE, AND CHILDREN:

I am right now in United States in a visiting visa (B1/B2) with my family, my visiting visa was till Dec 31, 2014, we have filed extension of visa (received extension receipt I-797C Receipt, but awaiting approval), moreover a company has sponsored me and I have filed H1B too.

I am residing at my relatives house in USA.

1. I have received Passport request, ** but not yet received Medical request ** . Is it normal to receive passport and photos request before medicals?

2. I would like to know if I can submit our passports and photographs in US, do I need to change my address? Please suggest procedure.

3. My daughters passport will expire on July, 2015. I have applied for Passport Renewal for my daughter at Houstan, Texax, USA. It will take 3-4 weeks to renew and receive passport. What is the procedure to extend time of passport submission.


Please advise.
