I am a 4th May 2013 applicant.I have received a reply from LVO regarding my email to change the address. I am copying the reply here. I have few questions if anyone can answer.

"Thank you for your email.

We note your new address, however, you have not included a PO Box number. In our experience, mail is not successfully delivered to addresses in KSA without a PO Box number. Please provide your full mailing address including PO Box number as soon as possible.

We note that you also have a second application in process (application number Exxxxxxx), with your spouse named as the principle applicant.

My question is
1) Does it create any issue if we have 2 separate applications in parallel with me as principal applicant in one application and my spouse as principal applicant in another. This question popped up in my mind coz the lady specifically mentioned in above email.

2) This email comes from email ID of Laura McLeod instead of LMimmigration. DOes this mean that my application has been opened by this immigration officer for processing?

u should with draw one application and follw which is stronger with more total passing marks. once one application is passed then no need for any thign . ur family will get visa all. no need to spend double fees.

email will not make difference either from LDNimmigration or Laura, they r the same, possible she wiote directly as u r having double applications. ur all data is recorded in one database GCMS, and they will know it they u have applied two time or one.

dear all frnds & respected forum members

1st of all i wish every success to all members who have been recieving PPR1,PPR2, & PP stamped

well last night i was going through master qorax backgrouned explained posting in which he has done

very well & 4 idea i m posting it here also 4 kind considrations that ,......

Security & Criminality Checks:
A part of the b/ground checks is the 'Security Check'. It commences after our med results are submitted to the CHC. This is a major activity -mainly concerning our 'safe inclusion' into the Canadian Soil; vis-a-vis, Political, Socio-Econmical, Anti-Social disposition, perceived Threat to Canada's integrity etc. This gets us the SDEC, CDEC & SECCRIM.

This is a serious & time-consuming stage, involving many agencies, including CSIS, Interpol, NASC, Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police. Many things are considered here... the No. of countries visited, Applicant coming from 'certain' countries, ex-Servicemen [including Law Enforcement services], Prolonged stay in a country w/out sufficient docs to prove cause, frequent traveling to certain nations, your *Name (?), Inter-Religion/Nationality Marriages etc.

If everything is simple & straight, the file soon gets into the 'final review' stage. If there are any 'red flags', our case goes into a 'spin'. Then our file might go to the local Police/CID agencies; the outcome/timeframe of which is beyond the control of CIC. And thereby the timeframe can be anything [sometimes beyond 1yr]. But, usually this stage should be over by 5 months max. However, a point to be noted is that we can also be called for an Interview [at this stage], due to this reason.

i also belive that every one has gone through such posting & have experienced it so my question is that

if every thing is simple & straight then how long does it take to get final review

aslo when i shud expect my PPR1 request ?

i do not have any visit to any country in my history ( u frnds may concider me typical DESI 8) )
