@ Mr. Engineer & other members one of my friends who has applied within 10 days of my application, got an interview call after 2 months since 2nd line added in ecas. the ecas showed the 2nd line "we started processing " in the first week of July and after 2 months he got an interview call(scheduled in early october).

I was of the view that VO are happy with the appln after the 2nd line is flashed. :-[

I will be glad to hear your take on the above mentioned issue.

I can see Ryanomil doing his Jason Bourne impression outside LVO. I picture him resplendent in his Leafs jersey as he squeezes the trigger. Wearing that jersey he's bound to miss!

i think the visa officers will return to MI3 to review so the applicants will receive 2nd line and PPR in September

You are basing this on MI2 files being near completion yes? If not i can't think how you come to this conclusion.

I received a reply on Friday from LVO regarding my request for an update on the progress of the file, received the usual we have not picked it up yet response.....roll on.

Depressing isn't it? Lack of clear structure from LVO and broken promises of a 9-12 month process.

My file will be 14 months old come tuesday!
