My experience with the Dr Mushtaq Khan at The Medical center Islamabad went very well. We had to go at two different places for XRAY and Blood& Urine test but it was still worth it and did not take very long. Medical examination was conducted on 3rd of September and reports have been mailed via DHL to LVO today on 5th of September 2012. :)

Dear Quorax

I just received an email from my visa office which says "due to operational requirements,

we will resume visa issuance in the Federal Skilled Worker category in 2013"

What do they mean by "Operational requirement"?

Regards,

My observation as while talking to people at Hospital is that a large number of applicants have got medicals and there is a real movement at LVO for all MI1, MI2 and MI3 Pakistani applicants. Hopefully the rest of applicants with PER will be advancing in their cases soon. Eligibility determination at the Visa Office will save applicants from any changes made to their cases by CIC as some people suspect.

I asked my consultant about Caips notes. The reply below is

Dear******

Please complete and return the attached form if you would like me to apply for the CAIPS Notes. It takes between 5 to 6 weeks to receive information back. You have to be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or residing in Canada to apply. I am also authorised to obtain the information as a Canadian Citizen and Authorised Immigration Consultant so can apply on your behalf.

If you send the attached form to me, email should be fine, I will apply on your behalf.

My question is can i not do this direct with LVO and would it be quicker? Any answers guys? Mr E?

Dear Farney,

I think if you applied that by yourself directly is better, because you can do that, it's very easy.
First of all, you will fill the form, then there is an authorization form that you and your wife (if she is applying with you) must fill and sign and to be scanned and send with the form to there email which will be provided to you.
If you did that directly you will receive the status of your file process directly through your email which i think thats better, because if you did that through your consultant, he will receive the latest situation and then will inform you about it.
For your information, i did that directly, and after 4 weeks, i reeived the first email from them which they informed me that the process is started.

Best regards,

Thanks. Does this refer to ongoing applications or the applicants who want to try in January 2013? We are in big trouble if this applies to the applications that are outstanding. Getting worried big time now!

Don't get worked up about it just yet. it is a NDVO and has only been sent to 1 applicant.

There has been nothing mentioned about this on the CIC website so not time to storm the Canadian High Commission just yet ;D

two applicants claimed receiving the massage but their vo can not be confirmed.

Friday week is my 20 working days from the VO assessing my case and I believe putting it to the 3rd party agencies to verify that I am not a secuity risk.

I really do not know what I am gonna do if they haven't requested my passports by then. All I know is my patience will officially be done.

Not two applicants, from what I understand. The second one was just quoting the original post.
