It is dated 25/06/ 12 but post date is 26/06/12 and received 27/06/12

So I had 18, 19 or 20 day wait from date of 2nd line depending on which date you take for my MR

Congrats dear. Was it MR alone or have you received RPRF/PCC etc too along with MR???

After getting that second line I dont think there is any difference in process time.

You know after hearing about the refusal of two MI3 LVO applicants recently I started having these nightmares...and on top of that I don't have a 2nd line as yet so it has become a little hard to accept even the good news..all seems fantacy now.
I understand your frustration but it is just a matter of time you will hear a good news soon inshallah if some1 got rejection I doesn't mean you will hear one too just think positive and inshallah it will be positive

none of them is MI2 applicant. you know LVO is working on MI1 applicants by 30 june 2012 and hundreds of applicants received RL, MR or 6 to 9 months waiting letter, after 30 june they will have to return to MI2 and MI3 applicants but they have completed their review on MI1 applications by 30 May , so you are observing updates of MI3 applications.
Now you will say i have link in LVO, but actually i have close link to this website data :)

Dear Engineer,
What is CAIPS?
Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (CAIPS) is an automated system for application processing outside Canada. Information is entered in the system from application forms and supporting documentation submitted by applicants for immigrant and visitor visas, returning residence permits and student and employment authorizations.

Hey people in the house, I have a question. If we assume that BGCs are done before medicals are issued, then what is the logic behind asking for updated documents along with the meds.?? I was asked to submit IM0008 and Background Declaration forms for me and my husband with my meds. and RPRF. What do you think it signifies??? Please share your views, thanks.

Same here. I have been asked for updated background form and spousal form. I was just going to ignore as I don't have any updates. Is this the right thing to do?

I would be concerned if they did it that way round because if they did you could get a refusal after blowing upwards of £700 on medicals, I would hope they do the Background Checks before requesting Medicals. Also when we received our MR's our consultant said that basically it was approved subject to Medicals at that stage.
