Congratulations and welcome to the club ! they have requested the same from me last March, almost the same scenario; second line and request for updated Schedule A the same day, since then nothing happened and I'm desperately waiting for MR, keep fingers crossed and good luck.

Dear toothfairy-77,

Did you apply GCMS notes after sending the additional dox. If yes then what did you find in your GCMS notes. Why they asked schedule A froms again.

I applied for my 3rd time GCMS notes 10 days before. they will come after one month, lets see what will be in my GCMS notes regarding add. dox.

Hello junaidwpk,
Actually I wanted to apply for GCMS notes but my consultant advised me not to and said it's not necessary at the mean time since we are still in the normal processing time frame set by CIC, his justification for the UDR was to initiate security and BG checks.
What I noticed here and start to believe that some nationalities would go for deeper BG checks and since this process is time consuming and unpredictable when it would be finalized, the IO -sometimes- prefer to initiate it even before MR in order not to face a situation of medical expiry before the checks are over like what seen in some cases for few applicants. *Its only my prediction*.
Best wishes and good luck.

Hello,

I have recently got married. I informed CHC, London about it. They sent me the following
Documents for your new spouse: Schedule A Background/Declaration form, Additional Family Information form (IMM5406), processing fee of $550, 2 photos, and a copy of their passport, long-form birth certificate and marriage certificate.

As you are married, it is mandatory to provide these items now.

congratulation of getting married.
this is good but now it will increase the processing time for your case, as they will go for the security verification and medical of your wife. it may take at least one additional year again.

That is a myth! You can bring as much cash as u want. Just declare it at the airport, you will be asked to fill in a form and that's it!

Dear frnds,

I sent a cse to LVO 2 days back and got a reply from them yesterday. The subject of reply was started with a new # starting from "'B'' which is called paper file# along with my old Immigration file # starting with ''E.'' For ex: Re: B0xxxxxxxx/E0xxxxxxxx ............ then the reply was like this.

Thank you for your email.

Your application is currently in process. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to, however, this may not be for quite some time yet.

Regarding your expected child, you should forward the following documents to this office within 60 days of the birth:

-updated IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for you and your spouse including details of the new child

-documents for the child: copy of the birth certificate showing the names of both parents, photographs, processing fee of CAD 150 (a bank draft payable to The Receiver General for Canada is required), copy of the passport bio page (this can be sent once it is available)

Yours sincerely,

Anyone having any idea what does it mean and what will be current situation. Is it positive or negative? How long more will it take from now?

Regards.
