Low bank balance of Inviter/Sponsor

Hello,

I want to know what role does Host/Invitor's bank statement plays in a visitor visa application. My invitor only has $1500 in his bank account, will that play a negative role in the application.

Would appreciate responses.

The "inviter", just invites and holds no economical responsibility on the visitor.
The "sponsor", invites and holds economical responsibility for the visitor.

A sponsor has to show he has the means to fullfill the commitments expressed in the invitation.


If that amount will suffice is up to plans, economical commitment and other evidence submitted. Difficult to assess just like that.
