Lost PR status but still have PR Card validity

I moved to Canada on WP on Aug 2018 and then I got PR on June 2020 and I left Canada in May 2021 due to COVID and to support my family at that time I have to travel back to India and after some time things got normal and then my family decided me to get get marriage and then plan for travel to Canada as i would be having some company in unexpected situations, but then it took some time to happen and on Feb 2024 as family was not comfortable with plan of flying to Canada and then find a job as it has financial risk it the search took little longer and then finally I got one onsite opportunity with my current company but at the last moment by travel got cancelled due to the residency obligation though I have PR card validity up to Aug 2026.

I'm aware I didn't met the RO but is there any chance to apply for renew under H&C or any other option to retain/renew my PR status?

Makes no sense if your PR card was valid until 2026. Go through a US land border. And who is "we" and family. Not having a job is not a reason for H&C.

Full story is not clear so hard to give accurate advice. Who cancelled your travel? Your employer? Someone else?

I do have job in India, but the opportunity to travel to Canada through company got cancelled as my PR status is no more valid

Yes my company say that my PR status is invalid so they cancelled my travel plan to Canada and work there

So what. You are PR so can go there and live. You don't need a job. There is no H&C reason because you can fly there anytime. Nothing to do with a job.

They have the right to withdraw your job offer. That is their choice.

You can still move to Canada on your own. As you said, your PR card is still valid. If you want to keep your PR status, then you should return to Canada as soon as you can and then live here without leaving until you meet the residents obligation. Then you can apply to renew your PR card.

Isn't the OP already (technically) in breach of the R.O.?

As of today they only have ~ 11 months accrued.

They are. But given there is still more than a year before the expiry of their PR card, chances are good they can enter Canada without being reported.

As for the PR card expiry date, normal to have it be valid for more than five years - and during COVID delays to PR card issuance extended that gap further. So IMO that all looks normal.
