Lost Passport in India with Canadian Work visa

I lost my passport while travelling to India. I have valid Work Pemit. I am not sure what is process to apply for restamping the passport in India. Could anyone guide me on this?

Can you share what was the procedure of get visa restamped on new passport in India.
My dad also lost their passport with TRV on it.
