Lost Passport before biometrics date

Hello Everyone, a friend who is not on this platform needs help as to what to do if a family member who is due for biometrics in Nigeria next week
misplaced or lost his/her passport, what are their options before the biometrics capturing date?

If you just misplaced and there is a chance to find the passport
>> As stated on the letter you have 30 days to submit the Biometrics. You can re-schedule your appointment on the Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC).
