@Ponga Thank you for your reply. I am planning to travel for about 10 days only because i cannot go further than that.
Have some family commitments there.
Could you please elaborate how applying PRTD from Canada works? Does the IRCC not verify the Passport stamps or anything to confirm i am indeed outside and applying from therefore? Is there a way or a instance that you know of one can safely get PRTD from within Canada? Thanks again for your time.

PRTD application submitted IN CANADA - success story

That thread is 3 years old, so it might be worth calling IRCC and hope you reach a human that can tell you.

@canuck78 just by 11 Days. Moreover when i apply for PRTD, i would be waiting in those 11 Days and if the PRTD doesnt get issued within that time, i will cross the number of available days to meet RO.

Is there a way i can get PRTD before i travel outside? that way i will not get into dicey situation? Thanks for your time in replying.

Do you mean you will no longer be complaint with your RO after your vacation? Or will you have 11 day buffer when it comes to your RO when you finish your vacation? When does your 5 year period end because having such a little buffer means you really should be reserving some dates for actual emergencies. We see many people return to Canada with minimal buffer time in order to be compliant with their RO and then they either have an emergency or need to travel for work and they need to make some very difficult choices.

As mentioned there are cases where people have been able to apply for PRTD while still in Canada. The fact that you are so close to be non-compliant and you are going to be outside Canada may result in longer processing.
