I have gone though the LA spreadsheet and the thread carefully
and from what I have taken as average is around 4weeks

Thanks for the info. Yes Computergeek i am relieved. I was checking my email like 3 times per minute for the past 1year. lol

What is the average processing time? I sent in my wifes application she is living in the US now for PR. They received our application in LA on Feb 5, 2013. How much longer do I gotta wait. The website says "application received" thats it. I'm tired of waiting, I'm a law abiding citizen ands he is Umerican why do we gotta wait? This is booooolshiate.

For PPR to COPR? I believe so yes.

I just updated it and had a few mishaps but it's all fixed now! Welcome new LA'ers! :)

Yes it was actually. We got PPR Nov 16th and it arrived at his USA home (we wanted that) Dec 18th. Then it took forever to get here in Canada haha

Hi Parker

There is a small mistake on my timeline in the spread sheet it's the date of the application transfer to LA you put as 3/21/2012 that has to be 3-21-2013 coz I submit the application on June 2012. Can you please fix the date I really appreciate ... Thank you so much

Anyone know what time is the best/quickest turn around time for getting PR status?

Did they update your status on the website at any point?

All i can see on the spreadsheet are old results from 2011/12.

Really wondering what is going on!

Rarely did ecas update for us. It went from Rec'd, to In Process and then when my husband got his COPR, Landed and was here for two weeks, it went to DM. *shakes head*

There's now two people there with 2013. More will come as Ottawa shifts more files to LA.

DECISION MADE

i used to check my ecas everyday and today i noticed a change
what should i expect now ? my package will be soon returned with my passport, visa, copr ?
like how many days (or still weeks) ?

and one more thing.
my current address just shows the city and province.. not the whole address... is it normal...??

Anyone. ? Who can tell me when should i expect the passport back to me after its decision made...i means any average timings ?

It should be mailing time from LA to wherever you are in Canada. My personal experience is that mailing times can vary substantially - I have a regular mailing from the eastern US to western Canada and it can take anywhere from 4 to 17 days.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So you mean to say they would have mailed the package. ?

I am in US. And i sent in Express Mail (overnight delivery)

Then should start expecting my package this week ?

Ah, well if you used an express mail envelope, you should be able to see the number light up on the USPS website at some point.

I had my own passport shipped to a US address via Express Mail as well. They mailed the COPR on Wednesday (October 10) via Express Mail. It was delivered on Friday (October 12) in the US (so much for "next day") and I actually received it (I had someone in the US forward it via FedEx to Canada) on Saturday October 12 - and landed approximately 3.5 hours later.
