Hello all,
I chose to post in this forum as I eventually plan on marrying my girlfriend that is a USA Resident. I have had this relationship with her for 2 years now, visiting back and forth and such frequently. But I myself am not willing to go through the marriage process until WE are ready to, and not to help a visa application.
I would like for her to be able to move here and work here without having to rush things and get married. I would like to live with her for a while to see how compatable we are together on a longer term than a couple weeks at a time. I want to properly evaluate before making my commitment to marry.
I am a 28yr old professional with a decent income, but not enough to support both of us for a long period of time which is why she would need to work as well here. She only has a High School Diploma, but has plans to become a CNA here and take care of the elderly. So, would the best suggestion be for her to get an international student visa so she can study being a CNA and as well get a student off campus work permit? And after that has expired, do we go through a spousal entry to canada or does she just apply on her own as an educated professional? Its just so confusing to me. Thanks to all in advance for your suggestions and feedback.
