Looking for help ! Change from Study Permit to OWP

Can anyone offer advice ...
My husband has been given an LMIA (skilled worker)- he is currently on an OWP and I am on a Study Permit.
I would like to change his OWP to Closed and I would like to be able to start working and therefore would like an OWP.

Has anyone successfully changed from study permit to OWP ?

(I have already completed a certificate but have surpassed the PGWP cut off)

So his employer got an LMIA and he applied for a closed work permit based on that?

Yes that’s right....we are applying this week for his closed work permit but I am struggling to find a form for me to apply ? Imm5710? Perhaps?

You need to see if he gets his work permit first before attempting to try to change your status.

Yes, IMM5710.
