Hey all, hoping people can tell me what my current status is, and what may happen in the short term. I applied for PR under the family class sponsorship and was a few months away from a decision being made before my sponsor (GF) broke it off with me and pulled my sponsorship. I originally arrived on a IEC visa and my last permit was due to expire august 18th this year. In decemeber I applied for an extension under a pilot program for spouses and was approved. In early 2017 I received an new 2 year work permit which is valid until early 2019. At the bottom of the work permit it states, "temporary residence status maintained as per R183 (6), Pending FC APR. My plan is to reapply for PR under express entry Canadian experience class and will be sitting my English test early next month before submitting my application. Can any one confirm if my current work permit is valid until its end date or is now technically invalid due to the original PR application being pulled. I received notification this week the application had been pulled but there was no reference to what I need to do next. Any advice would be most appreciated. My states a little fragile so I would prefer if people would only answer with facts rather than speculation. Thanks in advance.
