Dear All,

My Case.

1) Currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer on a Post Study work permit, Valid until July 2018. Total Canadian Experience - One year three months, But as per CIC, I would complete one year on July 15th 2016.

2) Education. Two Post grad certificate programs from Ontario Canada, Msc in Mechanical Engineering from England, BE in Mechanical Engg from India.

3) In total of three years of work exp from Indian & England.

4) Age : 29 years. Currently working full time.

5) IELTS - I have not taken.

Could any one of you guide me on how to go about my Express Entry application?

Hi Poke,

My suggestion is to appear for IELTS or CELPIP and get your CLB Level. Seems like you got pretty good profile!
 
It sounds like you have a good profile- however to proceed, taking the IELTS is a must. That should be your next step!

Also, even though an Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA) is not required for CEC applicants, you won't get points for your MSc or BE unless you do the assessment.
 
1) Take CELPIP exam in Canada

2) Have your foreign educational degrees assessed by WES

3) Use your language and educational results to figure out your CRS points with the points calculator.

If you score 460+ you should be able to get ITA directly in a future draw without any problems. If you score 450+ that might still be a possibility, but you would probably need to be more patient.

If you were to score below 450, which seems unlikely based on your information, you would have to look at LMIA or PNP to get additional points for ITA.
