No problem. And check Groupon too. They usually have deals for hotels around Niagara.

coolguy, all the best for 3 weeks; thats the perfect weather (Hi 28 - Lo 18) in Canada to spend holidays (& to complete landing!)

thanks a lot meanne and NN74 for quick reply.....

NN74, we will be coming only for 3 weeks and visit the places and return back at end of august.

msaleem216 thankx. House renting is the major activity once you are in Canada & costly too esp when you have family/kids. So be careful, ppl are nice & their offers are tempting too but you have to look at your requirements.

While choosing a place to live, it is most important that landlord is cooperative (not calling Police due to kids noise etc) and TTC (bus/train) is easily at walking distance if you have choosen Toronto as your place for job hunting!

In Etobicoke, school is nearby (I assume that you will prefer Govt school for obvious reason) & Asian community is quite visible. Many mosuqes & halal food shops are there!

Any1 with family. I wont recommend Scarborough. Any part of Scarborough.

Please elaborate.

It would help us in making options for settlement in suburbs of Toronto.

Stay away from Scareborough!!!

Hi,

I am sorry, but i dont agree with shkhassan. I am living in Scarborough for last 3 months and my sister is living in scarborough with her two kids for last 5 years. We never had any problem or trouble so far.

It would be nice if you can elaborate the exact problem you have faced in Scarborough.

From my point of view, it is a nice place for South Asian, specially Gujaratis. Very big community.
