Long time for visitor visa processing online application from Canada- others after us processed

Hi we have applied for my parents in laws visa since sept 27th through cic online from Canada and they are in India... we want them to be here for our wedding which is 23rd of this month and we still haven’t heard back on our application. A frends parents applied oct 7 and 2 weeks ago from today they were approved.. we applied my brother in law last week and we got the result in the same week for his application... we did same procedure for them but have heard nothing yet on parents visitor visa application... pls help how can we get an update? We emailed cic and delhi visa office and called cic they said its in delhi we cant say anything and delhi is not responding to emails or calls... pls help here we want our parents by our side on our big day pls advise what to do... by what max date can we expect results?
