Hi,
Here is the timeline:
ITA: Feb 2017
Medical tests done: April 2017
AoR: May 2017
RPRF Paid: July 2017

There has been no progress in my file since that.
Wonder why is it taking so long.

Sent a couple of status-check inquiries to IRCC, and got the response that the application is still getting processed.

Any insights on why it may take so long?

Have you requested for GCMS?

Yes, requested for the GCMS notes on 18th Dec 2017. Even that has been more than two months.
When raised an inquiry, the response was that there's a lot of backlog and they can't tell me a specific date by when they'll be able to provide the GCMS notes.
Requested the notes through getgcms.com

You might be in Security Screening. That takes longer then normal processing time.( 6-18 months)

I too recieved ITA in feb 2017 and recived PPR in first week of july.

Thanks for letting me know the possible reason for the delay.
Do you think my GCMS notes will help me understand the reason behind the delay?
I filed my application through a Canadian law firm. Even they have no clue why it is taking so long.

Yes getting your GCMS notes will help you to determine whether your are in Security Screening (SS). I also received my GCMS notes after 75 days.
