DRD victims... Any update?

Nothing. Last update from DRD in response to my CSE on 21st July was that my file was undergoing background checks.

We just had finish our medical but my wife had blood in her urine, my wife give birth to our new baby 4 days before we did our medical. Is this blood in the urine will not affect our application?

We won’t be hearing much from cic due to election processing of our application will be very slow and may not happen during this period .Candidates which got slu back dated in aug month will have to wait long .

its normal, if she gave birth or having her monthly period.

Can you please share the reasons behind this assumption. Also why does any such occurrence only effects London (and few other) visa offices and most visa offices continue to operate normally?

BTW I doubt that elections and formation of new Government has much effect on the process of PR as in countries like Canada processes are policy driven and not people driven/dependent (like many 3rd world countries), so what could be the reason for delaying it?

Two months have passed after MR and today I see additional 3 lines as below. VO mentioned in last update that routine background checks are going on, obviously, as I submitted PCCs late with MR. Let's see how long it takes further.

A suggestion to all forum members, if you are supposed to submit PCC for any country where you stayed more than 6 months, don't wait for VO request, submit it quickly. It will expedite your processing time by at least 1-4 months.

1) We received your application for permanent residence on XXXX
2) We started processing your application on XXXX
3) We transferred your application to the London England office on XXXX. The London England office may contact you.
4) We sent you correspondence on XXXX. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5) We sent you medical instructions on XXXX. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

They will respond you within 24 hours giving you the date of appointment.

its not a problem. it depends on what the doctor reported(that is if the doctor mentioned that your wife just gave birth so the blood is normal). the worse case scenario is that she will repeat the medicals......
