Hi Guys,

I need an very urgent advice. Since this morning my ECAS status is showing 'DECISION MADE' but only on the main home page where it used to be 'IN PROCESS'. However on the inside page (after I click on the DECISION MADE) it still shows the three line:

1. We received your application.........
2. We started processing your application.......
3. Medical results have been received.........

My timeline is as under:

NOC: 1123
App Filed: 27th August 2014
PER received: 14th December 2014
Medical, RPRF and PCC request: 8th July 2015
Medical recd by CHC: 16th July
RPRF rcvdby CHC: 27th July
PCC rcvd by CHC: 12th August

and now this 'DECISION MADE' on the main status window and no 4th line update on the inside. Now what does this mean? Is this a positive sign and can I expect my PPR in the coming days or is it something to worry about?

Please advice. Desperately need your suggestions.

Hi,

I think it depends on your passport. If you passport is issued from the country (your country of citizen) where US required a visa then you need a visa to travel to US.

Only few countries citizen are allowed to travel without visa (but they need ESTA). If you hold passport from UK, Canada and few other countries you just need ESTA to travel through sea or air.

on monday they were served with PPRs

timeline as below

per 20-jan-2015
slu 20-aug-2015
its say we start processing your application on 12-jan-2015 .What does that mean
I have also raise email to cic 2 days back regarding the status of my application but have not received reply as yet so idont know the visa officer .But saw icas this morning slu appeared what does it means that they have start process on 12 jan 2015 8 months back ,What to expect now MR till when pls reply back

same thing happened to me, 12 days ago I got slu, then yesterday I got the mr.
the slu also states they have started the process ten months ago. do not worry brother.

SBI think good. Besides i think majority of people have experienced this issue and on top of that whats most convincing is the timeline within which the Decision made should appear...nd urs is certainly within that timeline

Any one has Visa officer named "DRD"
any opinion about him, we received our PER in August 2014 and still no real progress, process started only in June 2015 and pcc request on the same day nothing else.

Seems RIH is working really fast!!! I am having almost same timeline like yours but I am yet to receive any update. I checked with RIH, got email that routine background is going on, no further update ???

Got done with medical yesterday in Islamabad. Was a smooth process all in all. Took about 3 hours (would have taken 1/2 hour lesser but my just-turned-5 daughter took half an hour of convincing to go for a urine test . Parents of youngsters - Beware!). Btw, the mail from IOM asked for kids' last annual medical check up, mine and spouse's valid polio vaccination certificates, two photographs of each family member, and vision card for anyone who wears glasses. However, none of these were asked for during the exam. Have sent RPRF receipt, PCC etc to CHC today. Hoping for a swift process from now on too Inshallah.
