The issue date wil be current date but the police certificate will be for period of ur residence in that country

One Slap from my side too for the consultant. Brother, life cannot halt after applying for Immigration. You cannot stop progressing in your life. This is a very common sense thing.
 
Hi Guys,

I am in a bit of trouble, our visas are expiring on 12 of August, my wife (Principal applicant) and my two kids are going to land in canada on 6 August but I am currently in a big shit, my passport is currrently with UK Home office because my visa was expiring in January and I applied for the renewal visa but my application is still under consideration.
Eventhought I applied for the withdrawl of my application on 7 of july and it normally takes 20 days to get your documents back, but the Case worker i.e. visa officer had a some confusion and wrote me a letter on saturday informing me that I will loose my fees if I withdraw my case and let I should let him know in writing if I still want to withdraw my case which is not a normall procedure, and I am scared now that I may not get my passport back before 12 of August, on the safe side I have changed my flight from 6 of August to 12 of August, but is there any way I can request the CHC London to extend my visa because the situation is beyond my controll and I can not afford to become illegal in UK by not applying for the visa back in January. eventhough UK Home office has published standard of deciding your application with in 6 months. I have the copies of all leteers I wrote to them and the mail reciepts.
Please can some one shade alight on this situation, it will be extremely difficult (I would say impossible) for my wife and kids to live there without me.

iam statrting to think that i am out of the game.

Do you thik i have to send them email to enquir about the status of my application.

I dont think they will extend visa under any circumstances. Once expired u will have to apply fresh and the whole process will start from begining for u

Secondly if they caught the loan will they give chance say 30 days or 60 days to pay off the loan, will it OK if i sell the car at that time and pay off the money. What is the normal practice, will they the bank certificate which I provide or they will contact for credit history?

One more thing, will the property or other fixed asset can be used as a substitute for cash/bank balance.

Just relax and enjoy your new ride. more over there is a difference between lease and loan, you have a hard cash in loan and a product in lease. Loan may rise doubts but lease no way. CIC will contact you if any doubt appear. 99.99% you are safe and will go through te process safely.

Good Idea, do let CIC know the whole situation and ask them for the guidance. And do accordingly as you told to do so. also write to UK home office and CC to CIC.

I even have à home office letter to back up the fact that I made the withdraw request but it was passed to the case worker on 29th July.
Does any body ever been through similar situation and managed to get the extension of visa?.
An other thing shound I wait to write an email to chc London untill 11 August I might get my documents back or is it better to inform them ASAP?
