London Visa Office

Today I called CIC , and the told me that my application has been received by the London visa office, Keeping this information in mind , I have the following questions:


1) After the application is reached to the London visa office , how long does it takes to receive a Medical Request ? there is no certain timeline to receive MR from LVO it can take between 2 to 4 months

2) Will I receive an AOR email from London visa office ? ( Please answer by keeping the past candidates of LVO in mind , if anyone received AOR email) NO there is no AOR from LVO

3) My passport got renewed recently , it was damaged ... therefore I had to renew it, Now please tell me is this the right time to inform and update the visa office with this information ? If so , then what is the procedure to inform this to the London Visa office people ? u can update them at any time. If u want now just raise CSE with copies of new passport

4) What is number of London visa office , in order to talk to them .. like CIC ... ? there is no number for LVO in my knowledge

Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.
Please return this letter with the requested documents.
Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.

Does this mean it is required for me to send hardcopies of all the documents required? My consultant says so and i need to affix my signature as well. Among all docs attached on the email, only the info chart needs to be filled out but i dont see any signature field. Ive read thru posts that the just sent all those info via email. Am i missing something? Please guide.. Thanks!

It is better to send hard copies also to the mailing address as indicated in your email.

However, I have more than 2 years of experience for working under the NOC in which I applied. Quick question. How do you know the initials of your VO? I got a photo request from LDN Immigration and there are no initials either in the email or the pdf attachment.

Also I received a photo request, my timeline is a bit similar to yours. I applied 8th Dec, per 24th Feb and photos request 20th March
Did you reply to the email after sending the photos ?

Our timelines are almost the same, app date 12 Dec, Charging 04 Feb, PER 28 Feb. However, I have not received any photo request as yet, whereas you got it on 23 March!

Question: How do you know that your file was transferred to LVO on 14 March as mentioned under your timeline on the left? Did you get any notification from LVO? As far as I know, LVO does not issue AOR !

Hi my tym ln is may 7 appln recd per 13 Aug Mr Feb 17 2015.pcc sent with appln.no further documents requested.3rd line on March 6.v o is vcm.hope this helps...

Glad to know my timeline has some good company

1. No, I did not reply to the LDN immigration email. All I did was FedEx them new photos with the studio stamps and a couple of blank ones.
2. Yep. LVO does not issue AOR or any other notification so I had to call up CIC for the file transfer info.

I'm still not sure that the person sending the PER mail is the VO. Isn't the VO supposed to be at the visa office
My photo request did not have any initials of the sender!
