Dear members,

Anybody have an idea that how much time Riyadh VFS take time for visa stamping?

I have sent my passports on 18Feb but still no any respond,

Every time I track my Passport status its shows "passports is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, RIYADH".

Members who submitted to Riyadh VO please comment.

One week.... today evening it should get updated in the system and you can collect inshaAllah on Sunday.

Is security screening related to your stay in some countries?

I've just got my GCMS notes and it is a little bit disapointing as my file was on Put Away status. I have the elegability completed and medical completed and all fees paid but security status and notes are deleted while criminality is not started. It seem they visit the file from time to time but on august after the last communication, I think it was decided that we should go through the security screening. I believe this could take more than a year to go through their security screening agencies. Any experience in this matter??

Is security screening related to your stay in some countries?

I think it might be related to staying in russia for only 6 months for education but i didnt continue my education there and they didnt ask for proof just explanation. Is that possible? I allready sent them the related police clearance certificate

It took 20 days for me to get the passports back from adudhabi ...so just wait and see

+1 for you Coolromeo. You also answered my query. Sent my PP to Abu Dhabi on 16th Feb. I just then have to sit back and relax.

Name, dob, application number, purpose of the fee should be enough.

I received PER on 26th Jan and my visa office is supposed to be London. Since I was rejected US visitor visa 14 years ago, I decided to raise a CSE to London office with a explanation letter and schedule A form.

I got an email yesterday asking for hardcopies of those docs, which they will attach to my file. As per DHL, a guy called Rashid just received my documents today at High commission of Canada,London.

Since they just responded to my CSE , can I assume that the email received from visa officer CKB is the AOR for my case ? Maybe I would have received AOR at a later date, if not for the CSE.

LVO dont send AOR and also i dont think CKB is visa officer.
